About Simple Coffee House
Opening in 2014 on the Gold Coast, Simple Coffee House is owned and operated by Simon Shanahan. Having come from a background in hospitality, he dreamed of opening his own business one day where he could combine his love of customer service with good, simple and high-quality coffee and foods.
Recognising the lack of quality coffee in Southport at the time, Simon was excited to bring a new level of sophistication and customer focus to the area. Simon is the face of the brand, and you will see him almost every day smiling at the coffee machine or pumping out delicious homemade foods from the kitchen.

At Simple Coffee House, our focus is clear – Simple food done well. Where possible, we use local suppliers to ensure we are continuing to support our local community. We make most of our foods (including our famous sausage rolls) in store so we can always guarantee the freshness and quality.
Originally starting as a humble coffee shop, we have grown over the last few years to now providing sit down meals for Breakfast and Lunch, and a huge range of private or corporate catering option’s – everything from canapes to our full service meals in your own home!
